| Post subject: | poser bvh import problem |
Hi, i've follow instructions to use bvh animations from ipi to poser pro 2012, but something is just going wrong. In the screen during import in poser, i have the option to scale or not scale the figure ; if i chose to scale it, the figure seems exploded with the arms and legs disconnected from the body ; if i chose to not scale the figure, then my character is going somewhere in the stratospheria and there is no way to fix it ( parent to a prop, drop to floor... the character just seems to be in a x-y-z madness). What am I doing wrong here ? thanks for your time, and otherwise, congrats for that great software you've done ! (sorry for my english, i wish you can understand) edit : more infos, in bvhacker the position of the character looks good. The only usefull thing i can do for now is zero the "clamp channel" in bvhacker, and the bvh loads fine in poser but i lose the movements from the hip, so the character do the animation but stays in the scenes center. good for preview but i need my character to move in the space.. UPDATE: I have now tried to create a profile by selecting all bones by hand. The result is that the figure is now well centered, but still turning around the hip axe (like if i was in face cam, but with the hip) |
