Hi I'm using the trail of Ipi soft and i have 2 Kinects set up one plugged into the back and one into the front, and i am getting extremly low fps on both cameras, I have solid pc specs i cant figure out why this is happening, any suggestions?

Hi Have you tried different USB port combinations? Although front and back ports are usually connected to different USB controllers, this may be not true in your case. Does single Kinect work normally? |

Yes with just 1 kinect it works just fine but with two connected performance drops significantly, Do you think its a usb controller/usb bandwidth problem? If so is there a way to determine which usb ports go to which usb controller, or is it just trail and error? |

Yes, looks exactly like USB issue. Open Device Manager in the Devices By Connection view. Expand the tree down to USB controllers. Plug any device (for example, Kinect) in different USB ports and watch which of USB controllers it appears under. This procedure is usually more straightforward than taking off desktop's cover and examining internal USB connections :) |
