So I about a week or two ago finally got the whole 4 PS Eye Camera's & 3 PS Move setup with enough space - calibrated and working. Now granted we where not doing any final quality productions yet everything was to test our workflow pipeline. Which I now have a IPI Recorder to IPI Studio to BVHacker to Blender to UDK pipeline.

With this figured out we finally laid out what all we need to capture and today was supposed to be the day we actually start recording real final quality material. Up until this point its been one thing or another to get all this working and go figure time to do some real work today and we don't get anything done.....

So again past two weeks had everything working calibrated crunching / working all good just testing workflow no problem got everything setup and it asked for an updated IPI that is decided sure install and lets reboot to free up resources etc.

PC came back up the Bluetooth PS Move Controllers would not reconnect to the PC In IPI Recorder. So we attempt to do the resynch process through IPI with the cable etc. It would detect when plugged and say unplug but would never synch after unplug just cycle over and over and you would see windows pop saying installing / Install successful. If I pulled up the Bluetooth control panel in Win 7 I could see 3 motion controllers but you hit the synch button they flash and never connect.

We manually removed the controllers in Windows Bluetooth Win 7 rebooted and attempted to add them again through IPI's process. Same thing just cycle over and over but it would show them in the Bluetooth Win 7 area while the move controller synch was flashing soon as it was done flashing it would be gone and IPI would just cycle and cycle and windows would add etc.

I deduced maybe incorrectly that they are talking but not fully or securely pairing. The only way I can see to pair in windows is through MotionJoy. So we setup motion joy and we pair each controller or even just one. Launch Ipi and everything seems like its going to work, perhaps it even will on the first load up after reboot. However after even one refresh I get error HID 121 on each move controller, or just one then after another refresh all of them etc. Every now and then it will go away but upon another refresh just come right back.

So I am like WTH, I dump all Bluetooth drivers, Bluetooth software, motion joy, ipirecorder, dump all I can think of. Go to Asus website and re-download my original Bluetooth drivers that did work for the past two weeks. I reinstall IPI Recorder. Same issue just cycles and cycles attempting to synch but wont.

So what am I supposed to do, everything was working just fine, I am out of ideas and this is what I do for a living TS shit. All I got is that the update IPI asked me to do still has something left somewhere that's messing it up? That the latest patch has a bug or something?

Help either with A) get the synch to work through ipi like it did before or B) When paired through motionjoy in advance get rid of HID Error 121.

Hello

What exact version of iPi Recorder do you run currently?
I've checked with the latest release 2.2.2.29, and pairing went as expected.
You should be patient when doing pairing procedure. It may be required to press the PS button 10 times or even more before all the drivers install completely and PS Move is finally paired.
Have you seen that video yet? http://vimeo.com/bassill/pairing-ps-move-in-recorder

If that still does not work...
What BT adapter have you got?
Please provide the trace log (menu tools > show trace) after an unsuccessful pairing procedure.

Yes I understand how to pair the device - IE I have watched the video I didn't spend 6 hours TSing it without searching out everything I could find.

I will remember to pull trace logs next time I have an issue.

As it sits right now though we are moving everything to a different server to speed up crunch time etc so when its fully setup I will try this again if the issue persists I will provide everything you requested.
