I have been trying to pair a PS Move controller with my iPi Recorder and running into some issues. I have installed the Win7 drivers for my USB bluetooth adapter (Asus bt211) and that seems to have worked fine. When I go to the Add New Device menu in iPi I follow the instructions and plug the Move via USB cable, then unplug when prompted. I hit the PS button and the LED begins the rapid blink after which I see Windows installing the device. The controller shows up under the Windows bluetooth devices list, but after waiting and following the rest of the iPi onscreen instructions the menu seems to reset itself (after a the orange spinning circle appears). I wait for the blinking to stop and hit the PS button again. I also tried hitting it twice as well as pressing it repeatedly since the onscreen instructions say "once the led stops blinking hit the PS button AGAIN and AGAIN" but I'm not clear on what "Again and Again" means.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here? The weird part is that Windows sees the device just fine. It just never comes up in the device list in iPi Recorder. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mitch

Had you seen this video with pairing procedure? It shows the way you need to press the PS button.

Thanks for the reply. I tried just like shown in the video and even after 10+ presses on the button it would never successfully pair. However, if I would stop after the first 2-3 presses wait a about a minute then press again a couple of times it would finally pair. I'm not sure exactly why but at least they are working now.

Cheers,
Mitch

I've had something like that happen, usually if I switch the PS Move devices on after having launched Recorder. Don't know if this will help you but, for me, quitting Recorder and restarting seems to reset the system, and brings the Move devices online in Recorder.

I am having the same issue and this isn't resolving it. 6 hours Tsing it and trying stuff and no resolution. I made an entire thread about what I have tried.
