Hi

I have a problem with exporting animation from iPiStudio (2.6.1.163, Basic) to DAZ studio (4.6). Everything looks good in iPiStudio, including the fingers poses, but when i use the exported animation in DAZ studio, the fingers "twitch".

In the current take, that i am working on right now, are three poses (same for left and right hand):
- 1st pose @start a relaxed hand
- 2nd pose @frame 260 a fist (starting at frame 230)
- 3rd pose @frame 430 a relaxed hand (starting at frame 380)

Everything works great until the first frame of the 3rd pose, where the hand seems to change its pose from relaxed to the default for the duration of a single frame. This happens again 3 times until the end of the animation. I read about problems that can occure with keyframes in the wiki, but the solution (to use recompute fingers) is not in the context menu.
Has "recompute fingers" been removed and is there a solution to the "finger twitch" problem ?

Hi

Finger poses are now fully recomputed based on the key frames when opening a project. That's why the "Recompute Finger Poses" menu item is gone. I've refreshed info in the wiki accordingly.
But you say the problem appears only in the exported animation, not in Mocap Studio, right? This may be some problem with the export feature.

Please send us the project file (no video) and the exported animation.
Also, which export options you have used?

Hi

The good news is, that the finger twitch disappeared when i reopened the faulty project, after doing some work on another one. I did this before and nothing changed, but this time the error was gone.
The bad news is ..... well not really bad news.... i can not reproduce the error an everything is working perfect :)

Thanks for the quick response and best regards
Mike
