I recently downloaded this software and I love it! However I am only using one Kinect and there seems to be some trouble. When I track the motion, all is well at the beginning, but after a while the limbs start to do funky things, as shown here.

The squares accurately represent where my legs are but the model puts the legs in a different place.
How do I avoid this problem using a single Kinect? If it's not easy will using a second Kinect solve the problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a common tracking error. Using more cameras (in this case, a second Kinect) greatly helps to reduce the number of errors.
However, with some practice, such errors can usually be cleaned up with a small effort.

In some cases it might help to stand slightly turned away from facing the Kinect--maybe 30-45 degrees? This way it may be possible for the Kinect to see the angle of your legs more accurately. I would avoid turning a full 90 degrees because then you're just exchanging for a different occlusion problem. Just a thought.

Otherwise, as previously suggested, you will need a second Kinect for iPi Mocap Studio to see exactly what the legs are doing in this pose.
