Hi. I got a real issue with the USB controller here! I got the USB 3.0 controller called "Anker" which I can use it for connecting depth sensors & probably the PS3 eye cameras. But every time I use that USB controller to hook up my Kinect. It keeps disconnecting even tho it's already connected to the USB controller. Can anyone help me? This is urgent! |

Hi I'm afraid this may be a hardware compatibility issue and you need to use other USB controller for connecting Kinect. What is the manfucturer of the USB chip? You can look for the name of this USB controller in Device Manager to determine that, or look on the card itself. I've only found one USB extension card on Anker's website, but they do not list the model of USB chip used. Kinects usually work good with Intel and NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 controllers. |
