I have a tracking session that is taking a long time to be processed. Can I pause and save what I have tracked so far and hit tracking forward and continue tracking later?

Yes.

When you resume the tracking later, you can have the software pick up where you left off by adjusting the in point of the range bar. You might want to start a few frames earlier to make sure the tracking picks up smoothly. Alternatively, you can set a take for the desired range. Double-clicking on a take set the range to the take's range--very useful feature as you can set a variety of ranges this way, even overlapping ones.
