If you are recalibrating cameras after an initial track and cameras do not align right, should you rough align the misaligned cameras and then should you turn off "Auto detect initial camera positions" before clicking Calibrate?

Thanks!

Yes, that might do the trick! Good luck. :)

Well I have good calibration in all cameras now :)

But when I bring the calibration into the new action scene, the cameras are in the reverse order of the calibration. Can I change that order?

Thanks!

That sounds odd but if the cameras are in correct position, regardless of numbering, it might not matter...at least, if I understand what you're saying correctly.

BTW, which version of iPi DMC are you using, 1.0 or 2.0? I have to admit, I'm still a behind in using 2.0 with PS3 Eye. (Lately I've been distracted with building a MakerBot 'Thing-O-Matic'. If anybody here is interested, check out our Little Green Blog and look for recent entries on the topic.) I had reliable results using the PS3 Eye camera with iPi DMC 1.0 but haven't used this camera with 2.0 yet (only used Kinect with 2.0 so far.) If you're using 2.0, hopefully another 2.0/PS3 Eye user will pop in with more helpful advice.

Good luck!

G.

All is working now, I must remember to record with te cameras in the same order. I also figured out that I can turn off "Auto detect initial camera positions" set the misaligned cameras in approximate right positions and recailibrate. The second pass solves most issues for me.
