Post subject:  Weird noise issue on PS3 Eye
Hi everyone, super excited to have started using this software. Even though I'm definitely not using it in ideal conditions, the quality is still pretty impressive. However, I do think I'm getting a weird issue with the PS3 Eye cameras. There's some sort of red/yellow noise that appears in the images captured if areas are bright:

If I lower the gain in the software, the whole image becomes too dark to make anything out, but the noise goes away. This doesn't seem normal - is it an issue with drivers? hardware? I have 4 PS3 Eyes from two different sources and they all have this issue.

Thanks for reporting. There's probably some issue with initialization of PS Eye cameras.
Try switching video modes - e.g. switch from 60Hz to 50Hz and then back. Does it help with the picture quality?
