Im noticing sometimes when the tracking goes screwy, if I adjust the pose and hit refit, ipi goes through a few calculations. It usually seems to correct itself the first couple times, but then the very last one it goes back into its mistaken position. I'm wondering how to properly fix bad tracking?Whats this last calculation that it does that seems to offset it despite the first couple corrections?

It because of auto on-the-fly smoothing: after position calculation, smoothing is applied thus neighboring frames affect on the result. Turn off smoothing by pressing "Sharpen button" and you obtain correct position.

We'll think about fixing this vague behaviour in future versions.

Ah, I think I was experiencing that at well. Glad to hear it's possible to work around by turning off smoothing!

wicked thanks, I started realizing it didn't happen when on the last tracked frame but if you did it inbetween so it all makes sense now:)

cheers
