Hi

I installed the application but I cannot find where it has been installed. I use XP Sp3. When installing it did not ask me where to install, but just installed itself somewhere.

I do not like to use the START menu so where has this application installed itself? How can I create a desktop shortcut for this application?

Basically I hate any application that installs itself wherever it likes. I have partitioned my disk to have a small C: drive and a large D: drive where I install most of the applications I use in separate folders so I can find them easily. I NEVER use the start menu but use desktop icons or "Quick Launch"

Our software uses Microsoft's ClickOnce installation technology.
If you are using XP, installation folder usually has some random name under .
Note, that after auto update the concrete folder can be changed.

It's very simple: First, go to the shortcut for the program under the Start menu, Right Click it and select Copy. Next click on the desktop, Right-Click and select Paste Shortcut. You can put this shortcut anywhere you like.

I placed my shortcuts in 8start, a very good shareware program laucher, but if you wish you can just place the shortcuts in an 'iPi Software' folder in the Programs directory and it will be available there just like all your other programs.
