Hi guys,
new kid on the block, so i just got my cameras and cables and im ready to start capturing with in a few days, I just dont want to capture things twice, so my question is what is better, to capture 120fps at a lower res or 60fps at high res. If someone know the answer i would really appreciate the time saver.

My machine specs:
windows 7 pro 64
7I core extreme sixcores with 12mb cache at 3.33 each
12 gigs of ram
7200 rpm drives (2)
gtx 480 with 1.5gigs of ram on it.

I want to create motions like this little anim i did, it was done with premade mocap, I want to do something like it but using this system.

Hello,

640x480 resolution enables to use larger capture volume (up to 10m/33' from cameras). It seems that in your case it is important to have rather large capture volume. But with 60fps actor should move not too fast. You can try to play all movements slowly and after tracking just change speed in your 3d package.
