I know about having to put the 4 cams at a semi circle but do you get better mocap having all of them at the same height or at different heights?

thanks in advanced,

Hello,

for correct foot and shoulder tracking it is important to have at least one camera at 2+ meters height. As to others you can fix them at about 1.5 meters height. For example see slide 7 here.

Also you can follow the advises from Greenlaw:

The setup I've been using lately seems to work very well for me: It's a half-circle arrangement, with the cameras about 2 to 3 meters up, and far back enough to see the full figure of the performer with plenty of space around him. I have to check, but I think the cameras are 4 meters or so from the performe

Hi, just wondered what is the distance between the cams? im tryign to get an idea of what floorspace ill need for this, I got a room in mind (a loft conversion) but it has a white beam right in the middle! so I hope i can mound the middle cam on that and 1 either side... think it will be ok but just trying to plan this all out

Thanks
