I started with the software about a week ago, and I picked up a cheap video card capable of shader 4.0 and a couple cheaper webcams. Well I couldn't get it to work like that and I've ended up with 3x playstation eyes and a really nice video card capable of almost 1 frame every 3 seconds tracking.

So I'm still having issues though, and the first problem is dealing with calibration. Generally I'll put the ps camera is calibration mode, and I will then record the video. I never leave the recordable area with the light, and I cover the whole volume. Then I make 3 or 4 ground points. I've tried calibration about 15 times, and every time the cameras end up in the wrong position. After that I adjust FOV, and initial positions.

The cameras are ordered from left to right, so the 2nd camera is the middle facing me directly. The left and the right cameras are about 70-90 degrees off from the center, so I should have a good view of what is happening.

After I have issues I usually try to move the cameras, and do it myself. I can get close, but then I have awful tracking issues. If I put up a white tarp, and where all black clothing it helps, but it's still really bad.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think I figured it out. I was wearing pretty much all black, and it would think I was a shadow or something. I changed into blue jeans and an orange long sleeve tshirt, and I put down a large white sheet on the floor and recorded against a white wall. That did the trick.

I still can't calibrate. I basically skipped that step and did it by eye.

Can you please describe in more detail what do you get after calibration? How many green points do you get?

You should not change FOV or move cameras after calibration.

Please see the following guides for more detailed help on calibration:
