Heya Soo heres lil about me, My name is Dariusz Makowski (www.dariuszmakowski.com) I'm CGi-Photographer / generalist. Studying currently my third year of games art and design. And heres the questions: Whats the benefit of using more than 1 camera? How many is minimum/maximum. How strong do I need pc? I have Xeon E5530 = 2x 4x 2.5 ghz 24 gb ram 4x hdd in raid 0(or 1... they all work like 1 big hdd basically) USB 2.0 asus gxt 480 Asus Z8PE-D18 How many cameras can I hock up to it. And thats it ! thanks... so far.. :) |

You can connect up to six cameras on your system; the max that the software allows. 1 camera won't do much for you because you are only capping 2D space, which means you will not be able to record proper x/y axis'. 6 cameras will allow you to capture all axis' which will allow for a more accurate capping session and stable image. The absolute minimum you will want to use is 3 cameras. If you haven't seen already, watch the trailer Danse Kabyl (I think I spelled it right), and look at what he did with only 3 cameras.
