Downloaded the trail software.
Record works fine.
Getting good Frame Rate on 3 cameras.
Went to load the IPI Motion Capture software to try the Calibration capture I did, it loads and shows the main screen but stops from there and not responding.

WIN 7
AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.40 GHz
4 Gig Memory
ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2

Any tricks installing or getting the software to work?

Got iPi Soft to install and run on an older less powerful machine. But can't get it to keep from crashing on machine computer listed above.

Loads, gets to the main screen. Notice it doesn't do an "Initializing" and come up with the Free Trial Enter License Key or Continue popup.

If I touch anything it crashes.

Any ideas?
Useless on my older computer.

Hi
It's very strange. "Initializing" window should come up before the activation dialog. Could you make a screencast while launching the iPiSoft Studio so we better understand what happens exactly? For screencasting you can use this free online service: http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/. It produces low-bitrate AVI files, so 15 seconds FullHD video is about 2.5Mb. And you will be able to attach screencast directly to your post.

Think you misunderstand.
Since I couldn't get the main software to load on my power system. Tried it on a older computer which it worked fine.

On my power system. It starts, but does not do the Initializing or show the Trail popup.
Just shows the logo screen, then on top of that (logo can still be seen in the back) loads the main software program, but if I try and touch any menus, crashes.

It never Intializes. I've made sure ZoneAlarm is allowing it's access. Have even tried with Firewall turned off.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.
Doesn't seem to be a normal uninstall with any of the iPi software. Just using Windows Program removal and a Revo Uninstaller to make sure no left over reg items from iPi.

Not sure but only error report on it's crash I could find was in Windows.

Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: ipistudio.exe
Problem Signature 02: 1.3.1.127
Problem Signature 03: 4f607155
Problem Signature 04: iPiStudio
Problem Signature 05: 1.3.1.127
Problem Signature 06: 4f607155
Problem Signature 07: 29
Problem Signature 08: 0
Problem Signature 09: System.NullReferenceException
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Update:
After uninstalling and reinstall, and doing a massive sweep for any left over iPi software on my main computer. Finally get iPi Studio to run, only to get Operation Rejected on it validating the Trial Software.

Attaching a screen shot.

Very frustrated

Yes, uninstall is only available through Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs because we are using the Microsoft ClickOnce for deploying our software.

Now it is more clear. Thanks for eventlog info. We'll try to investigate this further.

Had someone email saying this was some keygen priate issue?
Got the Trial software directly from iPisoft.com other day and have been trying to get it install ever since.
After uninstalling and reinstalling several times, it finally did it's Initializing, went and did a code for my computer system to generate a Trial Lic. Then got the screen shot error next. Haven't run any pirate keygen on it. First time trying to get it up and running since spending few hundred on PS3 Eye cameras.

Never pasted anything into the License box. It was pre filled out when it finally installed.

What is seen on the screenshot is an invalid license key generated by pirate keygen. You should not have used that key in the first place. Apparently we cannot be responsible for that. Trial version does not even require any keys.

You can always use another computer to run the trial. Alternatively, you can wait for v.2.0 (to be released soon). We will globally reset trial period for v.2.0.

Yeah, found out a friend about 7 months ago showed me iPi.
Didn't know he was showing me a hack program. Very pissed off.
So when I decided to look at iPi myself, that hack was still on my system and effecting the trial software.
