At home I use an i7 Quad Core with 64-bit Win 7 Pro, with 6GB RAM. (Sorry, off the top of my head I'm not sure of the full specs). The key components as far as iPi DMC is concerned is the capture drive and graphics card. I use an SSD, which is set up as a secondary drive and dedicated to capturing motion data. When I'm done capturing, I move the data to a regular SATA drive for tracking. My graphics card is an Nvidia GTX 460, which is an older card but still pretty decent. My tracking speed for dual Kinect is was about 0.67 second per frame. It's been a while since I did PS3 capture but I think the speed was comparable.
I haven't directly compared performance against 2.0 yet. It seemed a little faster to me the other night that might have been perceptual. Some users have reported that it's a little slower--but the software is in beta and iPi is still optimizing the code.
Hope this helps.
