| Post subject: | calibration object? |
Hi, I'm a sports biomechanics student and I am making a study on big boats sailing. I have made a camera capture on a boat with 3-4 cameras (all Sanyo Xacti WH-1) but didn't make the calibration procedure requested (using the candle light). I wanted to use skillspector or APAS for the movement reconstruction so I used a calibration object (6 points viewed by all the cameras). So I wanted to know wether ipisoft can perform a calibration with this object? Other than that is it possible to perform calibration (with the candle light) outdoor (daytime)? Thanks, Daniel |

No, sorry but we only support calibration with point marker. You should be able to calibrate with bright marker (like Mini Maglite flashlight in candle mode) outdoors in a shadow (but not in bright sunlight). You can turn down camera exposure to minimize the brightness of all extraneous objects in the scene. |
