Post subject:  T-Pose Framed as a mid shot with depth camera

Hello,

I think I may have errored here. But if there is a work around that anyone knows I would be greatful.

I frames my actor as a midshot (just uppertorso head and arms) as space was too tight on set where we where shooting and only needed to capture data of top half of body for the shot.

I thought in my ignorance that I might have been able to track just the top half...

Is there any way to track this with only a half t-pose.

Thanks

H

Hello

We have not experimented much with partial body mocap using our software. Theoretically it should work to some degree when you disable all leg/feet related tracking options.
You may share with your iPiVideo file to let us help you to get some tracking results.

You cannot "disable" parts of the body, but you can uncheck options "Enable foot tracking" and "Enable ground collisions" on the "Tracking" tab.
You can send a link to download the file to our tech support email found at our website:
