Hi,

I'm going to export a lot , maybe 100 different mocap clips for use in Maya.
So far I've been using HumanIK , so basically each time i import a clip from iPI Studio i have to setup a new character, match bones etc to the new humanIK rig.

My question, although it takes maybe just 10 minutes after some practice it feels a little bit strange to have to repeat this for every single mocap clip.
Isnt there a way to export directly to a finished HumanIK character? This would help us maya users enormously.

Best regards,

Motion Builder and Maya share the same IK system,

Also, What is it exactly your trying to do?

I just want to get the fbx file data rigged up to a HumanIK character. Right now you need to setup the HumanIK character and link it to the skeleton for each export you do. If you do a lot of shots, it sums up to a lot of time...
