Greetings.

I am a Mac User. Will ipiSoft be available for a Macbook Pro?
Also, I am planning on getting Modo. Will you be testing your software on Modo sometime soon?

I sometimes use Modo for modeling, not CA or mocap, but I believe recent versions of Modo support FBX and use Ikinema for rigging and animation. You might want to read up on those features for iPi Motion Capture Studio compatibility because Mocap Studio can import/export to FBX. (FBX is how I transfer my mocap data to characters in Lightwave.)

As for Mac compatibility, not natively, but I think Mac users here are using Boot Camp to run Mocap Studio on their Macs. This should work because you're essentially running a PC in this mode. However, one issue you may face is slow mocap processing due to the low power graphics chip set found in most laptops. From what I've read, you shouldn't bother running Mocap Studio under a VM like Parallels--if it works at all, it will be too slow to be useful.

Be sure to search for Mac threads in these forums to verify the above info as I'm just describing what I've read elsewhere. (Sorry, I haven't used a Mac for quite a long time so my info may be a little sketchy.)

BTW, the software is available free for limited demo, so you could try it under boot camp yourself.
