So is there any good budget solution for facial animation? I looked at Berkel Pro Face but I have no idea if it's good or not even after looking at some tech videos and whatnot. Is there a budget solution? |

Faceshift has always looked interesting to me. If you contact them, you can get a non-commercial license for $150. Face capture is a fairly complicated process. You'll probably want a solution that works directly with the animation program you use. Otherwise, you may find yourself having to engineer your own solutions for making the capture data work with your character. G. |

150 for non commercial license? Do you know how much for a commercial one? I'm not sure if I'll ever make a commercial game. In the off chance that I do though I'd like to have a facial capture system that I've practiced with from the getgo. I'd like to find something in the 200 dollar range that can be used with commercial license. It doesn't have to be great, just good. Berkel Pro Face is cheap but does anyone know if it's good? Has anyone tried it here? |

Zign track 2 http://zigncreations.com/products/zign-track-2/ $189 for a PERPETUAL LICENSE You know, like in the old days, when you could actually buy a license forever, instead of renting it.... |
