Hi there, It's possible to capture someone running and put it on a a animation ? If it's possible, how to do it because if I understand the most large you can have is 20 by 20 feet ? Thank you for the help ! |

Hi Yes, you can capture running motion. And you're correct that the range is limited to a capture area which is usually about 20x20 feet when using PS Eye cameras. First, think whether you actually need a very long motion. Maybe, you only need a couple of steps and then loop them. Also, you may experiment with camera placement to get a longer capture area specifically for running. Something like 10-12 feet wide corridor with cameras along the sides. |

You can use treadmill or something similar to capture running. However, in this case you won't get correct movement of a character in the scene. It will be sliding on the ground instead of moving. You'll need to add translation to an animation manually in your animation software. |
