Post subject:  Using a Playstation Move for Calibration

Hi,
This is all very new to me.
I have bought a Playstation Move (and charging lead) to use for calibration but can't seem to get it to 'glow'.
Could somebody tell me how to do this please? I have charged it up and pressed just about everything that I can but with no success.
Thanks.

Hi
First, do you see PS Move in device list when running iPi Recorder? If not then first you need to pair it with BT adapter.
When you see PS Move in devices (e.g. it's paired and turned on), then light is activated by pressing simultaneously Select and some other button which defines a color.
See our docs for details

More help needed, I'm afraid.
What Bluetooth adapter do I need to get, I only have standard Wifi on my computers?
Do I need to get something else and what, please?
Thanks.

If you're on Windows 10, I think any bluetooth adapter will work. No need to install special drivers for it...the iPi Installer installs everything you need.

I was using an ASUS model attached to a USB extension cable with my workstation but more recently I'm using the built-in bluetooth in my Windows tablet. This frees up my USB controller/ports on the tablet for other things like Kinect 2 and ethernet adapter.

I believe there's a list of tested and confirmed adapters in the Wiki.
