Im interested in purchasing iPisoft and recently purchased a Azure Kinect sensor and can't get the thing to connect on my windows 10 workstation.

In the device manager the Azure shows working properly in the Audio inputs and outputs.
its not showing in the camera
and in the Universal serial bus controllers its an error (invalid configuration descriptor)

currently I have a ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible host controller and a Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible host controller - 1.0 (Microsoft)

Have anyone else had this issue with the new Azure Kinect?

Hi
Check out the troubleshooting page for Azure Kinect, specifically in regard to USB compatibility
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/kinect-dk/troubleshooting#usb3-host-controller-compatibility

Thanks for the reply, I've combed through that page and didn't find any resolutions, just that it's been noted that some are having trouble with ASMedia USB host controllers. I would really like to purchase the iPi software after the trial, but this issue is preventing me and it seems to be no resolution out there.

You mentioned that you've got an Intel USB 3.0 as well. Did you check it? From what they claim anf from our experience Azure Kinect should work with Intel USB controller.

On that port the Azure shows up on in the Devices in iPi Recorder, But it says the "device is occupied or hasn't power supply". It's currently connected directly to a wall outlet.

I'm also noticing in the USB Controller section in the device manager, the it's showing as an "Unknown USB Device (Invalid Configuration Descriptor)

I'm having the same problem as above, device is occupied or hasn't power supply.
ASmedia USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller.

I'd love to figure out how to get past this, I managed to get iPi to work for about two minutes on this computer, and then it just went back to deciding it had no power or was occupied.
