Which are best? Whick are easiest to use?
Wii remotes are by far cheaper (appx 20E new vs 50E for ps motion contollers)
The pairing for wii remotes, is this an issue?

Thanks.

In my experience, the Wii controllers tend to drift more than the PS Move controllers.

The newer Nintendo Joy Con controllers are supposed to be much better than the Wii controllers but I'm not sure how they compare with the Move yet.

We have four Joy Cons here. I haven't tried them for mocap yet but when I get a chance, I'll post a comparison.

(FWIW, based on some of the Labo games my daughter has built, the Joy Cons seem to record rotation accurately enough to work within physical rig structures.)

Some advantages and drawbacks of specific controllers are listed in this table
http://docs.ipisoft.com/Motion_Controllers#Equipment
New PS Move (CECH-ZCM2x) is the best option in terms of accuracy.
JoyCons have the advantage of being the most compact of all options (if not talking about disassembling). However, they suffer more from measurements drift compared to PS Move. And also their operation range is not very great: data drops start to occur at 5m from a BT adapter. And sometime event at less distance - this presumably depends on specific BT adapter.
Wiimote does not have any advantage unless you consider employing AA batteries as such. And yes, you need to pair it with a PC on each usage which is not convenient. Other controllers are paired once unless you use them with multiple hosts (say, recording PC and PS console). Thus I do not recommend to buy Wiimote.

Oh that reminds me: you can improve the BT signal quality by attaching the adapter at the end of a USB cable and placing it inside the capture area.
