At the moment I believe most users are using 3 to 4 matching Logitech webcams, specifically the Quickcam Pro 9000 (I'm using 4.) Recently the software started recognizing the PlayStation 3 camera but I haven't heard how well that works yet. |

Currently, we recommend PlayStation 3 Eye cameras. |

Hi! I used Ipisoft demo, and I'm amazed with the results. We are using 3 Eye cams. Our intention is to use them with ZignTrack, too, and combine your fullbody tracking with their face tracking software. Do your recommend/ know any other low cost facial capture software? Do your Playstation eye driver works with zigntrack? |

Hey Pimpollo, Stick with Zign Track, it's the best bang for the money. I experimented with a software from http://www.moviemation.de, but it was a real pain in the ass - then again, it is free. I use a specially made head rig (similar to a Vicon head rig) to record the facial motion, then import into Zign Track. I use 6 PS3 Eyecams for Ipi's motion capture, and a wireless bullet cam for the face cap. And yes - the PS3 cams work with Ipi. :) Pat |

With the price drop on the PS3 Eye cameras, you can get a 6 camera set-up cheaper then purchasing 1 Kinect! |
