i started to work with ipi desktop and 4 ps3 eye cams and it works quite well so far.

but i have one problem: i want to use the recorded mocap videos (with ipirecorder) also in a video app. is there any possibility to convert the RAW video to a RGB video?

I haven't tried this but you might be able to output the video from DMC. Try hiding all the objects and setting the background to full opacity. You'll have to output each camera view separately. There is probably something about this I'm not thinking of but try it out and let me know how it works out. (Note: iPi DMC has a 2GB limit for animation output, so if the video is longer than this you will need to output it in multiple segments and assemble the video in a video editor.)

I haven't checked into this but it seems like there should be a player that can play back this format and output a more standard movie format. If anybody knows of one, please post the info here.

I'll try it out.... but since it's a pretty long video capture, i'll try to find a avisynth or After Effects solution.
