Hi. Have a problem.
I was buy usb camera from aliexpress.
This one.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1920-1080p-30fps-60fps-120fps-hd-cmos-OV2710-2-8-12mm-varifocal-cctv-medical-board-usb/32256142298.html
720p - 60 fps, 480p - 120 fps
I connect it and windows 7 install drivers automatically.
I start ipi recorder. It show me all setup modes for recording from 240p to 1024p.
At 480p I really get 120 fps, but at 720p - just 30 fps.
It is software or drivers problem?

And by the way. Two question.
1. How to record video at various FPS (this camera and 4 PS eye) together and sinchronized?
2. What about round borders of view and calibration algorythm?

Hi
For regular webcams (not PS Eye), iPi Recorder shows the modes reported by DirectShow which have resolution >= 320x240 and FPS >= 10. So lack of 720p@60fps mode looks like the driver issue.
Only cameras supporting the same mode (resolution & FPS) can be used together. However, we do not recommend mixing different models as this may introduce unnecessary complications.
I suppose by "round borders" you mean the effect of radial distortion due to wide angle lense. Our software currently cannot compensate this effect, so we do not recommend to use such cameras.

...

Were you able to get this camera to calibrate and function correctly with iPi Recorder 3 @ 640 x 480 @ 120 fps?

75 degree FOV is all thats needed for most scenarios in smaller room applications for mocap.

They are a bit pricey each for what they are, I was just wondering if the 120 fps made a difference in iPi tracking.
