Hi fellows, I just encountered a strange problem with my two ASUS Xtion PRO (live). 1. Initially the sensors worked fine in IPi Recorder 3 . 2. Due to some reasons I have reinstalled (on Windows 10) the 32 bit sensor drivers: OpenNI 1.5.4.0 ; PrimeSense Sensor 5.1.2.1 ; PrimeSense NITE 1.5.2.21. 3. In the Device Manager I can see the devices correctly as "PrimeSense PS 1080". 4. But IPi Recorder 3 says that the package is not installed and does not show the sensors. Does anyone encountered the same problem ? Have tried again and again deinstalling , cleansing and reinstalling, so I would desperately appreciate any help. Thanks in advance Peter

Hi I guess you've got 64-bit OS. Thus iPi Recorder runs as 64-bit application and cannot use 32-bit drivers. Please install 64-bit OpenNI and drivers for Xtion. http://files.ipisoft.com/3dparty/openni ... .0-dev.msi http://files.ipisoft.com/3dparty/sensor ... redist.msi |

Hi thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, I have W10 64 bit. So I tried to install the msi files you have attached (after thorough deinstallation and cleanup). The openNI Version 1.5.4.0 installes properly, but the sensor driver installation stops at the very beginning with the ominous message "please install OpenNI Version 1.2.0.4 or higher". Any ideas ? Best Wishes Peter |

Have you used the links I've posted in the previous message to download the installers? I have just checked these installers on my Win 10, and they install properly in the specified order - OpenNI first, Sensor second. And iPi Recorder 3 detects that drivers for Xtion are installed. |

Yes i have used your links and installier it in the order you recommended. OpenNi installs correctly, but the sensor driver comes with the error message mentioned in my last post. Can it be that there are still some artifacts of a former installation and deinstallation of openni2 which might be interferring with the sensor driver installation? And how do I detect and get rid of those ? Best Wishes Peter |

I finally solved it: changed the execution sequence in the sensor installer in a way that it is not checking the launch conditions anymore. Thema it installed properly and everything works fine :) Thanks a lot for your support Peter |
