Hi,
I really need help on this one.
I use dual kinect and start by loading the movie. I then load the calbration xml and everything looks fine.
I move, rotate and scale the actor to fit my movie, and hit track forward.
But it dosent work, the actor snaps back to its original pose and start to try to track from that pose resulting in very odd looking motions. I have tryied to reset pose but if i do that the actor disaperas from the center of the scen and moves some hundred units away so I se it far in the background.

Is this something anyone have come across? Do any one know anything that might help solving this issue?

(I have tried to search this forum but, tracking dual kinect is to commong words to let me search.)

You do remember to press i after you've performed "refit pose" (and you actually pressed that button as well)? It doesn't start tracking forward on correct frame if you haven't done that. You need to be on the first frame of RoI. i and o are the keys that can be used quickly determine the start and end of RoI. Or you can set "Takes" to cover the interesting regions and double click them to set RoI. I prefer to have one take per file, that way I'll be able to delete the file if something went wrong.

With PS3 cameras, what you described could also happen when calibration was seriously wrong. I had great trouble with calibration with them at first. Not sure, however, what is the case with dual Kinects. I've only made a couple of tests using Kinects, and the calibration seems to be a piece of cake in comparison to the PS3 camera setup.
