Yesterday I installed Ipisoft recorder. I plugged my kinects to computer, one to USB 3.0 and one to 2.0.
My 3.0 seems to cause some problems to videocapturing, about 85% of time my 3.0 kinect streams fines but rest of time i'm getting multiple streams to 3.0camera that overlap each other and kinect stream gets transparent green color.

Left side kinect is plugged in 2.0 and right side is plugged to 3.0


My motherboard is Asus p67 sabertooth and apparently my 3.0 controller is Renesas?

Any idea how to fix this or can it even be fixed?

If problem occurs only with one specific device, not both of them, may be you have defective device and should replace it.

There may be problems using Kinect with some USB controllers. USB 3.0 on your motherboard may be the case. As I know, Intel P67 chipset has dual USB 2.0 controller. Try plugging one Kinect in frontside USB connector (they all must be 2.0), and another one in backside USB 2.0 connector.

The problem is only with RGB image, or also with depth? If depth image is not affected then you may safely record videos, or even turn off recording of RGB completely. Only depth image is used for processing in iPi Studio, RGB is just supplementary.

I inserted 3.0 usb to my frontside usb, now its working properly :)
