Yes this issue is experienced both on XP and Vista. We'll publish fix within 12 hours.

iPi Studio v2.0.0.131 is published. It includes fix that should resolve startup problem. Please reply if you continue to experience this issue.

The application may not prompt you about new version on launching, if you've already laucnhed it within last 24 hours. In that case, if you want a quick update, you should download and run the updated installer from beta download page: http://ipisoft.com/V2_0_beta.html

Ok now it launches 2.0.0.131
