Is anyone having issues mixing active USB cable lengths for cameras? I assume it wont matter, but I know in certain applications it matters if the delay is different based on cable length.

We have several of these cables currently for several cameras:

I am thinking of adding some of these into the mix:

I use these and I routinely daisy-chain two of them and get a good solid signal. In the past I've chained three just fine. Supposedly, you can chain up to five together but I haven't tried that myself.

I currently use these for Kinect but I've used them successfully with PS3 Eye cameras in the past. For Kinect, I typically use four cables (two each), plus a fifth one to extend the reach of the Bluetooth adapter. For PS3 Eye, I typically had no extension for the camera closest to the computer, one or two for most of the other cameras, and possibly three daisy-chained together for the camera farthest from the computer. Usually, I never had to go beyond two though.

I haven't tried the USB 3.0 model yet. They might be better but they're also a lot more expensive.

Different cable lengths do not matter, as cameras anyway are fully independent and not synchronized. We do approximate software synchronization in iPi Recorder when building up a combined frame from multiple cameras.
We use 10m/32ft Monoprice cables without any issues. Though did not need to daisy chain them.
