So while tracking with 4 playstation eyes, set up about 2 feet apart, covering roughly 10 feet of a room at various heights.

I'm having a tracking issue where I'll completely lose one arm, and not due to occlusion, as I can see it in two cameras.. but the arm will just fly out behind the back, impossibly twisted around.

I'll tweak and refine the arm, very careful manually putting it into place.. then track forward OR backward- it will INSTANTLY snap back into the weird twisted position.

if I gently put it into place, then hit refine pose, it will snap back to the twisted state. It must really want to go there! I'm having lots of issues tracking the arms and legs. Would it help IPIsoft if I was wearing a different color on EACH arm and EACH leg? so it would more easily understand near occlusion and identification from my background?

How important is "perfect" background evaluation? if the lighting changes in my room due to time of day, will that impact my capture?

Hi

Can you share with us your problem video along with the scene file for testing?
Does the arm have different color from the body?

Studio does not support color customization of individual arms and legs. But significant color difference between the arms and the body, and between legs and the body definitely helps to get more accuracy.

It is important because leaves less noise to confuse the tracking algorithm. However, distinct clothing colors (and adjusting model colors in Studio correspondingly) and uniform lighting have more value.

This looks very much like a problem with incorrect background.

You can send us screenshots of the problem for debugging, this may be faster then sending us the complete video.
