I've just bought a kinnect on ebay and starting using it . So i download everything sdk run time
But when i open ipisoft recorder sometime i get depth + colors (but image frozen (only one image )
or most of time i get only black screen
So ican't record . So is it due the fact my kinnect isnt new but she works on my xbox 360 , or something to my pc (ive got intel hd graphics i know it seems not workin with mocap studio ) but at least i would like to record with my portable .

This may be an USB compatibility issue. Try different USB ports.
In case you got other drivers for Kinect installed like PrimeSense, there may be a driver issue also. Ensure there are no problems indicated for Kinect-related devices in the Device Manager. Remove other drivers for Kinect if necessary, leaving only Kinect SDK v1.6 or 1.7.

I'm totally sorry i spend around 5 hours for this to figure it out (install reinstaller older versions ) and it was just my graphic driver not updated. i thought i updated like just 1 month & half ago.
So at least in ipisoft recorder it's working (maybe in mocap it will work since its a hd4000 )
My problem was in kinnect studio i saw all the data and depth stuff but in ipisoft i saw one frame and hop freeze the frame

Here an other reply intel hd graphics 4000 works for it (you can add it on your page ) but drivers msut be updated to the lateste.
Here is an other trouble
Well i record my stuff etc .. and in mocap when i track after tracking , when i want to refine some pose (bug) it refines well but at the end of the refining frame it just go back to previous pose (without refining) so it's like i dont change nothing . Is this because of free 30 days trial version?

Anyway, we do not recommend integrated graphics because of the poor performance.


There are no tracking limitations in the trial version. Please record a screencast of this issue so it become more obvious what you are talking about.
