Does anyone have a preferred format for the video clips I have posted? The ones so far use the xvid codec, but mrbones for example has mentioned he can't view them.

xvid is the prefered codec for iprecorder (certainly the best results I've had so far come from that codec). I think once people get up and running with iprecorder and their capture rig, this won't be a problem because they'll have to have the codec.

What is the resolution of recording video? At 160x120 or 320 x 240?

Do you mean the resolution of my posted video clips? I have several that are at 640x480, directly exported from DMC studio.

Yes. I am using the same webcam (communicate MP) and latest software driver (v11.8), but it cannot be set higher than 320 x 240. At this resolution, I have to downscale the exposure parameter at about a half. Are there any other CPU specs that could make better result? Thanks.

Let's move the Communicate MP conversation over to the "Cameras" section, under the "Logitech communicate mp in use" posting.

I have updated the clips in my gallery. All clips are now Quicktime encoded. Added a few new ones as well.

direct link is the same as before:

The calibration tutorial can still be downloaded but is now on a separate page:

Hi Lightdog,

Thanks for posting these videos. I recently added a fourth camera to my setup, and your 4-camera tutorial was especially helpful!

My progress with iPi Studio has been a bit slow lately, but someday I hope I will be able to contribute something useful to this community too. :)
