Looks like I'm having this same problem.
I've tried installing the 64-bit PrimeSense drivers for Kinect. These cause iPi Recorder to see my Kinects audio but no camera (for both cameras). I can uninstall the driver and the camera part of the kinect reappears.

Yes, I mentioned above, that it kills the video part of the kinect. iPi Recorder can not find the camera part of the kinect (but can find the audio) when this driver is installed.
Do both Kinects show the same error or only one of them?
No only one.
Does a single connected Kinect work?
Yes, a single connected Kinect does work.
Is the issue related to plugging a Kinect in a specific USB port(s)?
I've tried a variety of different connections and I'm still getting this error.
