OK, so I take this topic back because I've got the same issue, and I can't fix it.

I just installed the last iPiSoft Mocap trial version to use it with 2 Kinect sensors. I can record everything fine, but I'm stuck at the 'Detecting ground plan, please wait' phase.
The software is still working (there is no freeze), but it never ends, and when I watch Youtube videos, this step just last a few seconds for other users !

I tried to update my graphic card drivers, but nothing changes. At first, I thought my recorded videos were the problem (I recorded them in a very tiny space). But since you said that the videos provided by this topic's author are working on your machine, I also tried to calibrate it, but I've got the same "detecting ground plan" problem.

Can you help me ? Here are my specs :

Windows 8
Asus G46VW
Intel Core™ i7- 3630QM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M
8 Gb RAM
iPi Mocap Studio ver. 2.6.1.163 - TRIAL VERSION
iPi Recorder ver. 2.2.2.29

I think your laptop may be using integrated Intel graphics when running iPi Mocap Studio.
Please search the web on configuring NVIDIA Optimus to force descrete graphics (660M) for a specific application.
