Unless I'm missing something, I would like there to be a pop-up or some option to either 'keep' or 'delete' the take after you've finished recording it.

I've just finished a mocap session, and when I know I've screwed up a shot, I have to go to my designated folder and delete it after the session.

You already have this option. After you finish a shot, the side panel with recent records opens automatically. Move mouse over the most recent record (the topmost in the list), and you'll see a toolbar with Play button. But there are also 3 dots in the toolbar which expand it with more buttons: Open in Mocap Studio, Rename, Delete and Open Containing Folder. All these actions are also available when you open a record in player.
