I use 3DS Max as my primary 3D editor with very little foot slide.

Are you exporting with Advanced Motion Transfer checked?

How many cameras and how they are positioned makes a difference. Semi-circle or full circle set up?

You shouldn't get much foot slide when tracking is good and AMT is checked on export.

Positioning a camera high and a bit closer to the performer will help in keeping the feet more in proper alignment/contact with the ground also.

Actor height if set too tall will also try to push the feet out on knee bends and when hips are turning, be sure actor scale is very close, it may need to be taller, or shorter than actual performer height, just depends on your calibration.
