Hi - Noob Here,

Got super excited about your software - then I saw it was only available for PC.

Any timeframe on a Mac version?

We do not plan to port the software on Mac so far. Sorry :)
You can run iPi Mocap on Mac via Bootcamp or similar solutions. Virtualized environments like Parallels are not recommended due to heavy usage of hardware (GPU, cameras).

I will try the boot camp. I have a macpro 12 core w/ a nvidia quadro k5000, and a solid state boot drive - as well as a couple lower level pcs to run as helpers - picked up the cameras, but still have to grab usb extension cables. Please let me know if there's anything you'd recommend I do. I saw some of the others were having success with process. I'll stay in touch - thanks for everything

NVIDIA Quadro series usually have lower performance with our software than GTX series because they are optimized for quality/standards rather than computations. You may refer to performance charts in case you decide to replace video card for increased processing speed. It does not include the recent models, but gives an idea.

Also, make sure your extension cables are active USB (aka repeater) cables. Regular non-active USB cables won't cut it. See the wiki for more detailed explanations. You can find suitable cables inexpensively at Monoprice, Amazon or New Egg.
