I'm encountering an issue with hand animation when I bring an animation into Unreal Engine 4 (I'm using a Mixamo rig). If I have any key frames on the hand animation tracks when I export from iPi, the character's hands glitch rapidly back and forth between hand poses. I realize this could just as well be a Mixamo or an Unreal problem, but I wanted to start here. Has anyone else run into this? Ideas for fixing?

I found the problem, and it is an issue with the iPi software. Apparently, the animation shows up fine in Unreal as long as you always keyframe both hands together (even if only one of them is changing). A simple fix, but it took a while to figure out. Not sure if anyone else has run into this, but hopefully it's a simple enough bug to fix in future versions of the software.

UPDATE:

What I said in my previous post is incorrect. I thought that because I was changing something, and it worked, that the change was the solution, but really I just needed to re-export the file. I followed the procedure today and got one file that worked, and three with the hand glitch. I hadn't done anything different that I could tell on the file that worked vs the ones that didn't, but the three remaining files worked as soon as I exported them a second time. I will keep an eye on this as I go forward and see if I can figure out what the trick is.
