iPi Recorder isn't meant to be used as a realtime game engine controller, it's strictly a capture program. After capture, the data is then tracked in Mocap Studio in a separate process, and then the tracked animation data is applied to 3D characters. In other words, it's not a realtime tracking system.
The Kinect One sensor itself should be capable of tracking your position in realtime within a small space but that needs to be handled in another program or game specifically designed to use both devices. If there's a Samsung Gear VR forum, I would ask there if anybody knows of a way to use Kinect One with it. My guess is that there's probably been some development with this idea already.
(Just did a quick Google search and, yes, it looks like there are a few Kinect/Gear/Occulus Rift projects out there.)
