So I have 6 ps eyes and a gaming desktop, I have extended usb cables ready and my desktop has more than 6 usb3.0 ports.
Do I need to buy any ps moves for light mark or calibration? What are the steps that I need to take to set up 6 ps eyes?
What about head tracking? Are 6 ps eyes powerful enough to track actors head?

Hi

Just to check, are your USB extension cables active (a.k.a. USB repeaters)? Avoid using passive USB cables anywhere you need more than 2m of total extended length, otherwise there is a high chance of unstable camera-PC connection, frame drops etc.

PS Move is not required for calibration, it's just a convenient tool for this. You can use any small non-directional light source such as a flashlight in the candle mode. Tip: enclosing a flashlight in a ball for table tennis provides you a light source very similar to PS Move.

You can find detailed instruction for setting up and using PS Eyes in our docs
http://docs.ipisoft.com/User_Guide_for_Multiple_PS_Eye_Cameras_Configuration#Recording_Video_with_Multiple_PS_Eye_Cameras

You can get decent head tracking with 6 PS Eyes when following our advices about the actor appearance - e.g. no beard, no long hair. However, enabling head tracking makes tracking speed twice lower. The most accurate head tracking can be obtained with the help of PS Move (or other supported motion controllers), and it comes with no overhead in tracking speed.

Yes, I have 6 repeaters for each one of the cameras.
Thanks for responding!
