I have a Kinect camera and the trail version but for some reason when I load the program I have no camera recognition. On my Kinect there is a red eye and it is working with other Kinect programs. The camera is also plugged into the mains. Is there a problem with Kinects I am considering buying 2 or 3 playstation eye's instead

I'm not sure why the Kinect is not working for your system and can only speak for myself. It would help if you described what you're working with (i.e., type of computer, OS, drives, etc.)

FWIW, iPi Kinect captures fine with my workstation (a quad-core intel with Win 7 Pro) and with my old laptop (a duo core intel with XP Pro.) To get it to work reliably with my old laptop I have to capture to an external eSATA RAID though.

I would suggest listing more info here and I'm sure somebody from iPi will help soon.

I am running an XFX 790i, Quadcore, 295GTX and have the Kinect hooked into that with mains applied. Opperating system is Windows 7 Pro 64bit

On Brekel I am getting 30 fps with this system and the camera is displaying. So thats all working fine.

When I load up the iPi softwhere i can find no options to set up the Kinect camera. It maybe I am just missing something. Otherwise I am seeing camera 1 but clicking that does nothing. When I scroll the video bar etc I am faced with no video.

I would love to get this program after seeing other user results on youtube and possibly getting 3 or 4 PS3 eye cams for better results although working on very limited conditions and small space.

I'm sure I have missed something somewhere but not having any response from the program so far regarding my Kinect.
