I agree; the camera controls in iPi Studio are very cumbersome.. easily my least favorite part of the program. An orbit mode would be very helpful. I would also like a "standard" WASD fly mode (with Q & E being down/up) as used by so many first person games.
I actually have a number of other requests.. Nothing major, but here are a few of them in case anyone is listening.. please take them with a grain of salt as I am a newer user and maybe I am just missing something.
* I shouldn't need to waste disk space recording background and the actor entry to the scene for each capture; I should be able to just use a portion of some other file for the background when I am doing multiple takes with the same camera setup. * The timeline could really benefit from some zoom controls ie. "show region of interest" or "show all" * When loading a video, the scene settings shouldn't reset. I process several videos at a time with the same calibration video & scene settings. * The UI in general could use a good tune up. No offense but the way the controls, menus, and toolbars are organized it seems to have evolved to this point - like many programs do - but it seems due for a general UI usability pass to bring up the overall quality of the UI.
