I don't believe so on Win 10 OS, when I tested it, it didn't work anyway, I had to use the MiJ work around then it worked fine.
That was just for 4 Moves, 2 on each dongle, and both dongles were ASUS 211 2.0 and also, 1 Asus USB 2.0 and 1 IOGear USB 3.0 worked fine, but the IOGear had to be the Win 10 dongle, MiJ didn't allow the IOGear to be seen.
Without MiJ, Win 10 will only allow 1 BT dongle to be initialized at one time, so I don't think unplugging and replugging will make a difference, it will just cause a re-pair to be needed before it will read the signal :/ so it won't retain the previous paired data and can't have both plugged in at the same time to pair them, won't happen without MiJ.
From what I experienced anyway, you can try it on your own too of course, but if use MiJ the dongles have to be compatible with it, older model dongles, those Trendnet ones should work like before though.
If you are recording using 2 laptops anyway you would need distributed recording, so different machine, split pairing is fine.
