Ok I managed to get all 3 cameras to work at 30 fps by adjusting the exposure down on each one a bit. Turned out the lights and used my maglite in candle mode to do some calibration. Went to do the actual mocap with the lights on and iPi Recorder would choke and freeze when I hit record. Only way out was to kill it in the task manager. I was able to capture video by setting the quality to 160x120 and then it would not choke and freeze.
Opened the video in iPi Studio and the cameras were not even close to the right position. Is there a easier way to move the cameras around than just clicking and holding on the move button or the pan button while moving the mouse around. It always defaults to default view and I can see where I am from the top down view. I need to switch a couple cameras around and move them so they surround the model not just on one side of it.
I didn't fine any translation handles to drag the cameras around from a top down view.

Regarding iPi Recorder choke and freeze - what CPU do you have?

About camera movement: you are not supposed to move cameras by hand. Camera positions should be calculated automatically from calibration sequence. Sorry but our User Guide is not very detailed yet. This is a preview software and User Guide is very brief. We are planning video tutorials but they are not ready yet.

Here is how your workflow should look like, in brief:

1) Calculate camera positions from calibration video
2) Save scene (camera positions) to a file
3) Open video of your motion
4) load scene (camera positions) from file

1-how do you calculate camera positions at IPI interface, is a mistery to me.
2-You load the torch video , I did
..... and , .......save the scene.
3-You load the video with the action , after or before loading the scene ,... is this a step by step process , or is it so obvious that even the help do not touch it in detail ; well ...plenty of doubts here, i made footage following all instructions (few) but could not achieve.
Not sure about this calbration workflow , I am so sorry, i did not catch yet, someone enlight me, please

Too ashamed to sign.

Atom is too slow for anything serious.

Soon.

I cannot tell exactly because we have very small team and everything progresses slowly.

Can i test the multicam with the trial version?
I don't find where and how you analyse the videos (With the maglightcandle) to calibrate the cams

Yes, sure.

Use "Calibration" tab. It is only available after you load multi-camera video (recorded with iPi Recorder).

What camera to make a film for theaters? I've never made a movie before but I need a camera to make a film shot entirely in the woods in the daytime with no sound. I assume the camera would need to have HD right? I have the dream of the film someday being able to be shown at a big movie theater. Also what camera would be good for shooting in the daylight?

It appears as though you're talking about live-action filmmaking. I would suggest asking in the forums at http://www.cinematography.com

There is a forum specifically about cameras. Be sure to mention how much money you want to spend on the camera. For low-budget films, you have a lot of options. Don't worry about whether the camera is used for movies shown in the theater. They can transfer from anything. I think "Blair Witch Project" used a 16mm film camera and a Hi-8 videotape camera.
